Paul began his European Tour career in whirlwind style with a victory in the Cannes Open only months after turning professional and quickly followed that with three other wins in the five years between 1991 and 1995.

There then followed a barren ten year spell, a period not helped by a serious injury to his right hand in 2000. Paul missed his card at the 2001 Qualifying School but made amends 12 months later and completed his rehabilitation in April 2005 with victory in the Estoril Open de Portugal Caixa Geral de Depositos, a title he successfully defended in 2006.

That win formed part of a great season where he pushed hard to make The Ryder Cup Team, eventually finishing just one place outside the automatic selection places.Paul previously played in the 1991 Ryder Cup at Kiawah Island and was unbeaten thanks to a fourball win with Ian Woosnam over Paul Azinger and Hale Irwin and a singles victory over Mark O’Meara.

Paul has a happy family life married with 4 children in Atherstone England. Having been born in Walsall Paul continues to be proud to represent the midlands. Paul continues to be a very popular member of the tour, respected by the gallery and excellent with both the media and corporate clients alike.
