Tom Whitehouse signs with SBM Sports

Former European Tour star Tom Whitehouse has signed management form with SBM Sports.

“We see Tom as a great, if not as yet completely fulfilled, talent.” Said SBM Sports managing Director, Steven Bainbridge before adding “although he will be playing a Challenge Tour schedule again in 2011 having lost his card a couple of years ago, we think that we can put the team in place to see him return to where he belongs by the end of the year”.

Tom chose to leave his previous management company at the end of 2010 on good terms after agreeing to not renew his contract in order that he could sign with SBM Sports. A decision that he is apparently happy with, saying “I just felt that the guys at SBM Sports would give me the attention that I needed and that they would ultimately be the best place for me to be if I want to return to the European Tour” He added “I’ve seen the work that they do and just wanted to be a part of that.”

We will keep you posted with his progress throughout the year, but expect to see Tom back on the European Tour at the end of the season.
